@MrXray2011 'British Empire' into a 'United States' where no country, including the UK, had influence over the other countries within the new 'union.' Think about it... UK, India, Australia and Canada. That would work out far better than the EU. Germany hasn't invaded or been at war with France for the best part of 80 years... if History is correct they will be soon ;) Nah they won't but we should united with some of the former colonies!!!

@MrXray2011 ...which is ironic as he is French. The UK should have more of a say in the EU, we should be much more assertive, which thanks to Cameron we can now be more assertive, in stark contrast Labour want us in bed with Germany and France within 10 years!!! It's a shame that the EU will destroy itself within a few years, with the right governing Europe could, once again rule the World but without the UK this is not possible.
To be honest I like the idea of re-uniting the old...

@MrXray2011 force that would be unbeatable. Much of this thanks to the UK's technological advantage over most other military hardware in the World. Examples are the Type 45, the Trafalgar/ Astute Class, Challenger 2 etc. Our future capability is even more promising, Type 26 Frigate, QE Class, new SSBN's, UXV Combatant new light tanks etc. The EU could be great but at the moment it is being driven towards a large cliff by a President that looks, and acts like a Rat...

@FieldMarshalRommel23 Yes... the EU is richer and will be more technologically advanced, in this aspect I fully support the EU, a United States of Europe... never. The UK should stay in the EU as long as we can do, effectivly, what we like with our money, our prisoners, terrorists that we don't want etc. The EU should have no say over British Laws, any policy etc. It should unite, Under British military command, in times of military crisis and we should unite as a

@MrXray2011 If the EU wanted too, we could muster a much bigger and better army, navy, airforce, spec ops force etc. and you all know it. The EU is 200 trillion richer than the then the US!
