i want to install compiz fusion and a lot of other utilities,but i have no f-ing idea how, as i'm new to linux.i have kubuntu K.D.E. 8.1...can anyone help?
and i know i can learn myself, but this stuff looks really cool and i want to have it now.
would it help if i install a newer version?....maybe they come preloaded in them???

The newest KDE (KDE 4) doesn't support Compiz very well because it has its own built-in desktop effects. If you got standard Ubuntu it comes with compiz pre-installed, with all these effects and more.

The rock n roll boogie which accompanies the video is really marvelous. I haven't heard it before, I guess Jerry Lee Lewis, the title as he says is Yo Yo? Congratulations. (By the way I have openSUSE) Can you tell us the graphics card?

you can run compiz effect on integrated graphic card :D it means you need basic (cheap) hardware. Install Ubuntu OS its easy and best linux system.
