It just seems to me that the goverment doesn't want to admit that its able to compromise its own leader like they did with JFK. Thats what I understand that they mean that the public wouldn't be able to handle it.

One of the most riveting vignettes in contemporary American cinema, thanks to Stone's craftsmanship and Sutherland's artistry. So good it actually makes you question history, right?

This is a fuckin brilliant scene. Love donald sutherland as well. Check out 'the speech that got kennedy' Its probably my favourite speech ever!!
