  • what's the excerpt at the beginning from?

  • @madelinealexander22

    I'm afraid I really don't have a clue sorry.

  • In which album does this song appear?

  • @gaytanOrizaba

I don't think it appears on any album. It was recorded in 1970 and unreleased.

  • great song

  • @madelinealexander22 This is from an episode of Oobu Joobu, a radio series Paul did in the late '90s. I don't know when this was recorded but on the radio show, he always had demos and whatnot.

  • @madelinealexander22 I am not positive but the song was re-recorded in 1978 for Rupert the Bear, so I figure its from that? Perhaps!

  • @madelinealexander22 Was taken from the cartoon Rubert that Paul and Linda wrote...I used to have a copy of it...wish I could find it. :)

  • @madelinealexander22 paul's narrating from the rupert sessions for a full length rupert film in the 70's which was unmade, this song was then redone for the give my regards to broadstreet film but wasn't used

  • @supermd4589 Good idea! I heard some parts of it on youtube but not the whole thing. I will take a look!

  • @Trevornator You should seek them out online. It's a good radio series with some neat demos and many from Rupert.

  • @supermd4589 oh ok thats pretty cool! :)

  • @Trevornator Yes, I know. During his Oobu Joobu radio series, he played a lot of demos (as I previously stated). That being said, it can still be part of Rupert the Bear (which it is).

  • @supermd4589 This is actually from the Rupert the Bear sessions cus you hear him reading the book before each song. Same time when We All Stand Together was released.

  • loved to hear this one for the first time. thank you!
