Muslims' America - Alamgir - the legend lives on Part 2

I'm waiting to hear the crowd scream...Alamgir is back, Alamgir is back...these were the words of the man who introduced Pakistan to pop music Alamgir. Also known as the Elvis of Asia, Alamgir who sings in 17 languages is coming back to the music scene after a decade of silence, which according to him was partly due to his two decade of hectic life, and most importantly due to his heath condition. Alamgir is suffering from rare kidney disease that he inherited form his mother, now fighting for his life as he goes through dialysis three days a week, he is waiting for a kidney transplant due in early 2012. The Pakistani American community in solidarity with Alamgir is raising funds to assist him for his upcoming transplant. Recently a non profit group Shifa Foundation organized a live performance and a fund raiser for Alamgir in Virgina, Urdu VOA met up with him where he said he's a got a message for the people of Pakistan, "I'm coming back."
