True. I believe the short film was under a budget. Producing quality film required real set studio or on location. The Khmer speak in Cambodia now is not the same way was spoken by the Khmer in Khmer Rough time - Khmer in Cambodia now speaks with an accent of Chinese, Vietnamese and Siam! What you are hearing from this short was of Khmer-American generation.

At least its better film than film made by sam-b-lorn in my opinion.

Well, think about it.  How many friend do you have? And how many friend of your friends do they have? Imagine if all of us pitch in some help, NOTHING IS IMPOSSIBLE! Let alone, there are so many Khmer all around the world, 100,000 is not that much at all!!!!

Well, the short film is out. The full feature is not out as yet. If you want it to come out sooner, we need your support. We need to sell at least 100,000 DVD of the short. So we could put all those money in manking the full feature. We have put all the missing puzzle of Ros Serey Sothea on script. But to put on film, we need budget. I just saw this film (the short version). I think this film is more geared towards the Cambodian American audience. The script is not very well written and the actors/actresses have very strong accents when the speak Khmer. I did not feel the Khmer Rouge experience at all while watching this film.I think the producer should improve the scripts/castings and locations of the film. This is meant to be a constructive criticism.

if i know where to get the movie i can pretty much do you guys some good.. i looked all over every video and film stores around my area and i was told a lot of young cambodians are lookin for this particular film. my aunt was really interested when she heard it was about the singer ros serey sothea and how her life was during the pol pot era. all i can do now is tell them info on how to get it and put up a flyer inside college campus buildings... you got my support dude
