Bill Hicks is the most human, most American person I've ever known and I've never even met the guy, let alone even heard about him until about 5 years ago or so.
Nobody dared to be as real as him. Ever.

I wish you could revive Bill Hicks for twenty minutes and say "Bill, Keith is still alive." He'd lose his fucking mind.

@princessdingling - Agreed!

We need a Bill in our generation... The worlds in need...

@chrisfloyd77 I think it's because during the first fifteen, the drugs hadn't quite kicked in yet. In the final twenty, "Demon Comic" comes out. That's when you know the dude is high as shit up there.

I know noone will read this but ill give it a shot. Ive always wanted to be a turtle.. Every day I would pretend to be a turtle. Im getting pretty good at it too. Ive made a shell out of wood and have almost perfected walking with it. My family supports me and this decision. Every like will help me to reach my goal :)

especially funny starting 13:45 into the set, Hicks was sixteen years old when he started performing

Awesome! Bill was a genius. Thanks Princessdingling for the upload, he lives on...
I've seen every bill hicks video but this one. It is amazing to see some of the bits that made it in future recordings and the material that doesn't really appear anywhere else. It is also interesting to see him nervous or high or amateurish for the first 15 and then he settles in and seems to be much like most of his later performances. I've seen clips in docs from this but in its complete form is really a great find.

@chrisfloyd77 - Your comment post was well said. Bill should have become famous well into his late teens. This early video clearly shows just how people were just not quit ready for this comedic genius and just how much Bill was so way ahead of his time.
This truly is one of Bill's most brilliant early performances EVER!
