  • @OnOffFastingDiet They say that there is a fine line between genius and insanity - I'm not sure which way he crossed, but the result is magical

  • Yes very much the Gouldberg Variations - seeing him sitting in his Dad's chair crouched like a musical Gollum singing along quietly. But magical music.

  • gould plays the GOULDER VARIATIONS

  • Thank you for posting.

  • @94jmcorrea Not singing, humming. Gould used to do this almost every time he played a piece. Most of the time his humming wouldn't even relate to what he was playing

  • Hannibal Lecter, mrrr. :P

  • Seeing that Goldberg himself was after all a JSB interpreter, I think it's fair to say that GOULDBERG VARIATIONS is becoming more and more an adequate title of this masterpiece.

  • you can hear him singing :D

  • @Baud3lair3 maybe Justinian Henrich Bieber III

  • 5:16

  • @inmynameAzat Interesting enough, he actually said at least once in an interview that he failed at playing Jazz, he just didn't "get it". Apparently his inbuilt sense of Baroque and Classical rhythm hindered his ability for it.

  • @DeadHappyFilm Nobody's should slip when voting this awesome video :)

  • D;

  • @Baud3lair3 Sorry. It slipped.

  • With such hearing and articulation he might be a greatest jazz pianist. But his choice is Baroque.. In any case he is so genius!
