Things 'bout coming my way

'Things 'bout coming my way' ~5:00 min.
For slide guitar, wii remotes and super collider.

This piece is part of my ongoing research on the combination of instruments, sensors and computer in live performance.

The starting theme is taken from Tampa Red's song 'Things 'bout coming my way' .
I decided to play this blues as a departure point for my improvisation.

The live playing is being recorded and then played back as short, chopped loops.
I am using the Wii Remotes attached to the guitar and to my hand as controllers over various parameters of the electronic part, by moving the guitar, and by moving my left hand i am able to change how the computer part sounds.

This performance took place at the Royal conservatory, Den Haag, Holland.
7th of October 2008.
