MAN TADPAT HARI DARSHAN KO AAJ Played on FLUTE By DR.N.R.Kamath (BAIJU BAAWARA)

I have played on my FLUTE this CLASSICAL Song "Man Tadpat" which is based on Raga Malkauns. I am dedicating this song to Lord Shirdi Sai Baba under whose feet I learnt my Flute under his directions for last 16 years. This mastet-piece was composedby Classical Maestro MD Naushad in 1953 for the Film : Baiju Bawara. And the Greatest Singer Mohd Rafi Saab sang this extremely soulfully which we all know. In fact, this is the Best Classical Bhajan ever composed in Bollowood films based upon Raga Malkauns. It is said that MD Naushad braught Pandits from Kashi to improve Rafi's diction of certain Sanskrit words. And within few weeks, Rafi Saab was ready to sing the ULTIMATE Bhajan. This Bhajan is said to have been sung in almost all the Temples of the World. Whenever I play this Bhajan on my Flute or listen to Rafi's spiritual voice I get into TRANCE. Such is the power of this Bhajan. Amazing thing about this Bhajan is all 3 artists Naushad Ali (Music Director), Rafi Saab (Singer) and Shakeel Badayuni (Lyricist) were all Muslims and yet they came up with a magnificient spiritually soulful Bhajan. This is a timeless melody, I had listened to it from some amateur singer when I attended a gathering of music buffs in 1955 with my father.

Your flute sounds very melodious, it sounds like a cascade of water flowing gently.
