Dana White pissed off at reality show idea

Dana White, who is Built Like A Fighter, pretends to be upset over the initial news that Spike TV will be doing a reality show. He was just acting and playing it up for the cameras though.

Since we all know that Dana White, who has an intimidating staredown he uses on network tv execs much like a fighter before the bell, came up with this idea, at least according to Dana White.

Indeed. All this tells us is that at the inception of TUF, he hated the idea of a reality show, no indication is his view changed from the experience.

Actually, according to Dana White, it was his idea all along to do a reality show. Those of us who were following the sport before TUF -- which would mean before you two started -- remember how he was against it from the get go and was overruled by the Fertitta brothers. Dana wanted to do a Tuesday Night Fights type show and this was the only offer that they got from a network.

This statement alone runs contrary to what BLAF would have you believe -- that it was his idea from the beginning to do a reality show. Just like how the NJAC forced him via a lawsuit threat to stop claiming he was the one who got rules approved for the UFC and not the previous owners.
