I got a new idea from your video--thanks. The only thing I like better than watching wood split with an axe is splitting it myself!!! BTW, I read thorugh the thread and great advice about type axe and sharpening it. I use an 8 pound axe with a mall end. My favorite is the double axe...but, it is not as effective as the 8 pund for cutting large oaks...22" or so. Thanks.

@SPIKEwillKILL get a Fiskars and the Fiskars sharpener, sharpen it until it shaves hairs.
