  • Why on earth would you do this? I can't think of a single reason why driving an alternator and water pump with a 2" cogged belt is a good idea.

  • ZERO SLIP and it looks COOL!!!!

    Ron

  • Any issues with the pulley system you have, I'm looking to put a similar system on my 396?

  • It would work great on your 396.

  • is that t hing running on a 2barrel holley?

  • That carb is a holley 600

  • @basketofkittens I know you posted over 2 years ago but, I'm into Mopars and every Mopar I have seen has the same belt set up but with a regular V belt driving the Water Pump and Alternator) does this mean they are all wrong? or do you just not like the idea of the Gilmer belt drive...

  • i think this set up looks cool and looks way better then the v belts.

would like to run this on my 69 firebird, its here on you tube, orange with

black stripes, with wenzler tunnel ram soon to be running.....Tim

  • @billetr x2, i bet you don't have to worry about slinging this belt off!!... it always sucks when your on the street with a decent hotrod and you sling the belt after a burnout or making a pass..

  • goodbye water pump and alternator bearings

  • @vanmelum i heard if u drill a couple holes around the pulleys itll drop the sound cuz its caused by air sucking in between the belt and pulleys

  • How did you get it to not have that high pitched sound? I have his 2'' cog belt, and I have loosened it up as much as possible, and I still get that high pitch noise coming from it. Any suggestions? Did you do anything specific?

  • where did you get the cog kit at?

  • @basketofkittens No belt slip or squeeeeeeeeeel! and racing at high RPM's it isnt going to slip.

  • @JayandJenn07 The only mud you're gonna see is when you pulled ur dick out of ur boyfriend ass. hahhaa

  • Hell Yeah man ;o) i like it... im gunna do this on my muddin SWB 82' chevy.
