I would say there is a lot off crossover appeal between klezmer and Welk's wares. I can also attest that there is some damn fine accordion music coming out of Mexico. Furthermore, there was plenty of crap music in the 50s too, we just stopped listening to it as soon as the marketers stopped plugging it. And lastly, what do your backwards views on race have to do with good music?
