Michele Borba, Ed.D., the author of Building Moral Intelligence: The Seven Essential Virtues that Teach Kids to Do the Right Thing, is an internationally renowned consultant and educator who has focused primarily on strengthening children's character, self-esteem and achievement. A dynamic and highly sought-after speaker, she has presented keynote addresses and workshops to over half a million people around the world. She received her doctorate in educational psychology and counseling from the University of San Francisco, her M.A. in learning disabilities, and her B.A. from University of Santa Clara; and earned a life teaching credential from San Jose State University. She currently lives in Palm Springs, California with her husband and three teenage sons.
