  • I am remembering my first love from 1965 who dedicated this song to me and sang it to me often. I am happily married to a wonderful man who is the love of my life. I guess we always remember our first loves, and even thought we move on to live wonderful lives of our own, when we hear something from the past that reminds us of so long ago, we have to stop and smile.

  • This 45 rpm will be up for auction on Ebay in a few days.

  • Gil Reigers is still playing for Johnny in his shows!

  • Was that comment really necessary?I think all of us knew he was gay, never got in the way of his artistry of being the singer eh was and still is.I would venture to say he has done more to help set the mood for the arrival of many of our children. You are the ass

  • I saw him was in LA with some young white guy that was definitely an ass bandit.

  • Fine soil produces a good crop .

  • A time when cars were solid and people were real !

  • who were playing the guitars? mathis made a booboo singing "i'll love you til the poets has lost its perfume" and repeated "i'll love you til the clover has lost its perfume"

  • Our mom took us to his concert at Pine Knob when I was a kid and she got the chance to hand him roses at the base of the stage she was so happy:). She was a wonderful women and mother I got to experiance art and culture through her and I met Marcel Marceau, who my sister Marcella was named after, and I was also privileged to see him on stage as well. I love you mom:)

  • @jmiller295 How very true

  • This is one of the most beautiful songs, sung by a man with one of the most wonderful voices. This song has all ways been a favorite and now brings tears to my eyes when I think of my husband who passed on 14 years ago...the love of my life. This was how I felt about him.
