Rick Warren's Pluralistic Agenda

Here's a video from DAVOS 2008 Faith & Modernization speech. Listen as he talks about how we need interfaith projects amongst Imam's, Rabi's and probably any other religion you can name.

Whatever happened to 2 Corinthians 6:14 which isn't talking about marriage, there isn't a single word about marriage in this chapter... it's talking about trying to get together with people who worship idols and false gods as though you are at some sort of oneness with them?

Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?

C'mon Rick, aren't we as Christian's supposed to accept the Bible as our Final Authority in all matters of faith and practice?

I think we as Christians should pray for Rick Warren that he repents of his ecumenism and stops leading MILLIONS of unsuspecting Christian's down this same path with him. We should love and feed people who haven't heard about Jesus Christ and his saving work on the cross and his resurrection. But, we do it to share the gospel, not to solve world social problems.

@TruthisLoveMinistry So seeking and saving those that are lost only means marginally bad people? And you're right Jesus did rebuke false teaching, but let's be clear, neither of us is Jesus. The 2nd most important commandment according to Jesus is loving our neighbor. According to Jesus' own parable, the good samaritian, everyone is our neighbor. Not just people like us, seems like Rick is loving his neighbor albeit with possibly flawed doctrine.

@allforwonderful I'm afraid I do NOT recognize, the Jesus, he preaches and represents. He preaches 'another Gospel, and therefore 'another Jesus.'

Along the lines of the catholic Christ, who is not the Biblical Christ Jesus.

I don't think these debates are unfruitful at all, because it lays bare the hearts of man, where they stand, Biblically, which is the measure and also, people can be encouraged to check these false teachers against the Scriptures too.

@jamesglory1 See Romans 14, the whole chapter. Paul directly speaks against division over debatable things. Essentially those of you arguing that Rick Warren is a heretic are wasting precious time by engaging in unfruitful debate, the same could be said of me. The fact is he claims Jesus as his savior, actively spreads the name of Jesus worldwide (even on Starbucks cups), so regardless if you disagree theologically, you can't argue that he loves Jesus.
