Red Dead Redemption Savvy Merchant and Expert Hunter Outfits

The Hunting and Trading Outfits Pack features two new outfits and their associated challenges, both originally candidates in the GameStop Red Dead Referendum Pre Order fan vote. They will be released in a free DLC pack for XBL and PSN on October 12th.

The Savvy Merchant
This shrewd negotiator is able to get his hands on valuable firepower. Equip this outfit and buy guns and ammunition from any gunsmith for half the cost.

The Expert Hunter
Fears no beast, and emerges from the wilderness with valuable pelts and hides. Equip this outfit and receive double the amount of skins and hides from hunting.

In addition, the Hunting and Trading Outfits Pack also features a new animal that's been added to the frontier, the elusive Jackalope. The Hunting and Trading Outfits Pack will also include a compatibility update that allows players who do not have the Liars and Cheats Pack and or the Legends & Killers Pack the ability to see other players that do who are playing as characters from Red Dead Revolver or the Red Dead Redemption single player story. Of course, you still have to purchase, download and install the Liars and Cheats or Legends and Killers Packs if you want to play as those characters yourself.

I have never heard of an incident where free DLC becamed charged awhile after it got released so in answer to your question, these two outfits are still currently free. However, the Deadly Assassin outfit wasn't released in this pack and is sold separately for 80 MS pts. :P

No need to fear my comrade. Just master the art of Five Finger Fillet and you will prevail! Haha but seriously, Five Finger Fillet is the EASIEST and FASTEST way to reach $1000. You just have to memorize the button patterns and once you're comfortable with that, always bet $100 with the last guy who's playing Five Finger Fillet and you'll eventually earn the scrap. Don't play Poker or Blackjack or whatnot. That takes too long and it is monotous. :)
