This is a Cabaret style show. Performed by beautiful Lady boys. Classical thai dances perform by Woman are done with much more grace and poise. Performances like this can be seen at Tiffany, Pattaya Thailand.

Nice video. I notice that Thai/Khmer/Lao dances focus a lot on the movements of the hands. Out of the four dances shown here, I think the Northeastern one is similar to Lao dance because it has lots of hip movements. The music of the Northern one, surprisingly, sound quite similar to the melody of Viet music, and their dance is "more" like Vietnamese than other regions too because of the body turning.

Just in case some people misunderstand my previous comment, I mean all 4 dances are very very different from Viet dance, but the other 3 have no similarity to Viet dance and the Northern one has because of the body turning. Viet dance doesn't focus on the movement of the hands and hips but of the body as a whole, and hence there are lots of 360-degree body turning, twirling in Viet dance. I don't mean the Northern dance is similar to Viet dance, but "more" similar compared to the other three.

IHyRaXI, just because youve been there doesnt mean anything. The ONLY thing that means is that Thais had to deal with someone who has no reason to be alive & takes up space for no reason. Secondly, if u felt that way, then why would u even bother to go? IF u had sense enough to realize that Thai & Cambodian culture run hand in hand, you'd realize how much of a moron u made of yourself with that last comment.
