I couldn't agree more. I have never watched Glee, but I see so often that people comment on really classic songs that they know them thanks to Glee. So appartently they hadn't even known them without Glee, and at least they go and look up the original thing. So isn't Glee actually doing a really good job then?

CONT. Is the show that is bringing people to this. So yeah, I am here because of Glee, and because of Glee I can now enjoy great artists like Liza and many others and can discover musicals that I didn't even know existed.

It really bothers me when people comment that Glee didn't bring them here and they are here because they know musicals. FYI, I am a proud Gleek, and I LOVE musicals. Had it not been for them, I would not have discovered people like Liza, Barbra, Gene Kelly and many others. Thanks to them, I discovered a whole new world in musicals and am able to enjoy them.
