I prayed for guidance and prayed for god to show me where I could find proof that the bible was true...I spent 7 years begging god and seeking for the answers, but the more I read, the more I realized the evidence to the contrary was stronger. The day I made the realization that there was no god was the greatest day of my life...a weight was lifted and I was free

well I have asked and I have received. I thank the lord for what he has given me. when I have asked god for evidence but I always come to this verse "you shall not put the LORD your God to the test, as you tested him at Massah"

god never answered me that prayer but he has has answered me enough prayers that I don't need to ask him for evidence

there are many atheists out there who are precedented. god is yet to help them and revel himself to them. but an atheist must read the bible with an open mind and hart if they are to believe.

if they do start believe then they are then a theist and must ask god for forgiveness and to allow him to work in them. but it all must start with the bible

@MrCheeseLover405 If Atheists were really interested in finding proof of God's existence they should pray to Yahweh and ask him to show them something they can believe. Hence the whole "ask and you shall recieve". But they won't pray to him because they do no believe he exists. To them it would be like praying to bugs bunny. If they do not believe it's because they wer enot predestined to, as the book of Ephesians deals with predestiney.
