so much kit!

theres no need for heavy lines, i fish on float for tench with 3b line and have had them upto nearly 10 pounds. on feeder i never usealy go above 6 lb . only need tough lines if useing big leads and casting long distances

although going to a man made lakes which is stocked with fish and your bound to catch, i enjoy going to places like rivers where you are not sure what to expect. bloor thanks for the rig next time i go im defintly using this

hi mate, a better thing to use rather than the shrink tube to alter where the hair leave the hook is a 1 or 2mm peice of silicon tube i normally use 2 bits of about 2mm 1 just off the eye and anouther where you want the hair to leave the hook. you can get it from any takle shop an its cheaper than the shrink tube.

Dont worry i have been fishing for the same amount of time. i have only caught like 4 carp. biggest 7 and a half others were 5 pound and one was a half a pound crucian. Just fish the right venues and try fishing a tad deeper :)
