( NaNoWriMo 2009 ) Day 10.

One third of the way through! :O I hope everyone's still chugging along and making progress. Remember, there are twenty days left, so no matter where you are in your word counts, it can still be done! Week Two is a pain in the ass, but don't let it kick yours, OKAY? :|

As a final goodbye, each of the pack passed the grave in turn and lowered or dropped something into it for Sebastian to take with him into whatever afterlife he would pass. There were many different faiths and beliefs in the pack; they came from all walks of life and as a result had brought with them many religions. Some believed in Heaven, others in reincarnation. Cole was not sure what he believed, and as he stepped to the side of the grave he looked down into the darkness at the body, remembering Sebastian's rich laugh and bright eyes filled with life and the anger and desire for vengeance crashed through him once again, violent and powerful. Swallowing it down, he reached up and pulled the black leather thong from beneath his shirt. At the end was fastened a meticulously carved wolf of wood; it was running, tail sweeping out behind it as it ran towards something unknown. Sebastian had always admired it, mused about where the wolf was running to. It had been a gift from Cole's parents earlier in life, though the pack member who had carved it was buried at the opposite end of the plot. Lowering to a crouch, Cole pulled the thin length of leather from over his head, twining it briefly around his fingers, watching the way the shaped wood caught the light. The little wolf swayed gently and Cole stared at it for long seconds that seemed to stretch into eternity. There was a small part of him that was unwilling to let go, drop his parting gift into the grave. It would mean letting go of Sebastian, a friend and a brother.

You make me so frustrated. I didn't write any yesterday (I had this retreat camplike thing for my schol and we didn't get home till 7) and I was so exhausted, Thank god I have no school tommorrow. I just made 11k
