  • Cliff Gallup was one of the greatest if not the greatest rockabilly guitarists of all time. I think one of his greatest solos is on B-I-Bickey Bi,Bo- Bo-Go. I think it sucks that he wasn't in Rolling Stones greatest guitar players issue. They did have Link Wray in the issue though which was cool. Thanks for posting this.

  • incroyable morçeau;cliff Gallup y est fabuleux;2 solos, bien lancés par deux cris sublissimes de G.V. premier enregistrement de gv le 4 mai 56

  • @misslillyblue jeff beck plays like Cliff..not as good obviously but pretty damn close!

  • @john4951

Howard Allen Reed played a custom ordered black finished 1955 Strat which his mother Naomi sold after Howard died at the young age of 41 in 1981.

  • one of "the great records of all time

here,s to all those who took part in the recording of this and other

    gene vincent classics.

  • Ya Cant Beat This Stuff !!

  • i was given a music challenge the other evening, and was played a song (not this one) and they said who sings this record, and because of the vocals, i would have said cliff richard, and that is what i said, but now i know differently because of the caption 2 below. music works in mysterious ways xx

  • HEY KIDS! Try turnin, off the fuzz and all the other pedals for a minute, try some heavy gauge strings, learn somethin' about a back beat, and some 6th, 7th, and 9th chords. See if any real soul or feel creeps in to your playing, It might open up some possibilities you hadn't thought about before. If not, go back to what you were dion' before, but at least you tried. Understand where it came from, and move ahead with more conviction.

  • cliff gallup....he da" man!!!

  • Gene and Cliff were a musical combination made in Rock'n'Roll heaven. I also loved the sound of Paul Burlison with Johnny Burnette, Scotty with Elvis (as well as James Burton who's work with Dale Hawkins, Ricky Nelson and many others is incredible. Oh how I wish there was video footage of Cliff Gallup with Gene Vincent from 1956. Thanks for posting this song.
