Hi Chaconne,
I love your playing, awesome! I just ordered a Blackshear from Tom and am very excited. I mentioned this was the sound I was looking for. I am a rock guitar player most all of my life and have only played classical 4or 5 years. Going from Van Halen to Bach is quite different. Cheers Chaconne, Shane (:>)

Thanks for sharing this video and wonderful music with us. I don't see colours, although that would be interesting, When you're playing do you find occassionally, it's almost like sitting back and listening to someone else play a favourite piece? It was a pleasure listening you your playing, thanks.

Great performance...Bach is always my choice of listening. By the way, your first name was given after the Bach's famous Chaconne? :) Do you still own that Thomas Blackshear guitar?

BRAVO!My favorite.

muy bien¡¡

I'm a synesthete, which means I see colors when I hear music.
I like the way you play this piece, because I can see your notes as golden, yellow notes, which I really like.
Also I can see the pulses throughout the phrases, which makes it more like a candle flickering on and off, and the shadow behind the candle.
So I wonder, are you a synesthete too, because you've got good color?

Hi Max
Wow, really? Cool. No, I am not a synesthete. I just hear what I play. This is actually an old piece, and I play it better now so I wonder what it looks like. I'll have to add the Chaconne on here sometime and you'll have to tell me what color it is :)
