I envision "zombies" are actually people who failed to prepare, who did not think to do something with the gov't (voting with research), didn't think store food/ firearms/ get involved in the community. "If" the economy collapses and the civil rights becomes compromised and we're reduced to small colonies of survival, these people walk the earth aimlessly w/ their morals compromised, starving, w/ no hope in their hearts, will be resolve to steeling, murder, canabalism....kinda like "Fallout".
