Gerry Casale and Mark Mothersbaugh of DEVO stop by to tell Brandon all about the conception, recording and marketing behind their first album since 1990, Something For Everybody. The celebrated rock iconoclasts also discuss the full-circle effect their message of "de-evolution" has received over the past thirty-five years and retrace the roots of DEVO, reaching all the way back to their time as Kent State art students.
Devo's name is derived from their concept of "de-evolution," the idea that mankind is not evolving but rather regressing.
