looks like trivium have took the shift to corporate hard rock. i hope its just a concept thing and they go back to metalcore.

Its far better song than Hearts burst into fire... anyway BFMV is good band but Trivium are so much more grown up than BFMV.. sorry for my english.

If you study music, you know that when using the modes of the major scale like they are doing here, you're technically limited to 7 notes (and of course passing notes) you're going to eventually come across melodies that are similar to ones heard in other songs. If you want to put it that way, a good percentage of your favorite bands have used material directly from multiple classical pieces. It happens, most pop songs are constructed using a matter of 4 chords just in a different key... peace!
