This is a wonderful surprise and a "must have." One of the finest remixes I've heard. The heart of the original recording remains, yet an exciting freshness is apparent. (Great visuals add to this Supreme celebration--especially the picture of Steve and Jean.)

honestly, i try not to compare the two. I love Diana Ross, but anyone judging her voice purely on technical quality is COMPLETELY missing the point of why she became popular in the first place. The voice was UNIQUE, and she had that charisma, that star quality.

Jean Terrell was technically a better singer, but with a voice not quite as unique.

Again, I don't like comparing the two. Apples and oranges. I think there's room enough for me to love and appreciate both, and I do...

@ivyfield I just got back from The Atlantis Event 2012 Caribbean Cruise at The RCCL "Allure Of The Seas" and both Almighty Remixes "Up The Ladder To The Roof" & "Stoned Love"extended versions were played on "The Aqua Theatre Tea Dances", over the MEGA SOUND SYSTEM this two songs have been updated and have come back alive for generations to come!

I know I'm going to get slammed for this but...believe it or not I got 'weepy' listening to this remix. Maybe I'm just in that kind of mood, but I have always loved this song and what you have done with it is incredible. The beat and bass moved me while keeping the clarity of the harmonies intact. I know its been years since this was put on here but I just found it right now, and personally I want to thank you sooooo much for what you have done here. Be encouraged in all you do. God bless.
