Demographically targeting white old couch sobs with annoying wives. Right now this commercial would be acted by a black guy listening to rap music whilst the whole thing is in Spanish.

Nowadays, stores in black neighborhoods have Newport paraphenalium plastered all over at kid's eye level to hook black kids in them. Times change!

I miss big ol' gigantic televison sets that were a piece of furniture, not hung on the wall. I remember our first color TV, a big old Sears console the size of a refrigerator. Sure it required constant adusting to get the picture right, but when it was turned off, it was a nice, elegant addition to any room! :-) Oh, yeah, and then our neighbor's Admiral console caught fire one day....Hmmm, maybe they weren't so great.

@garybryant7 Sure any time Gary. He is all sleepy like he just got done smokin some. The only thing that is missing is the plate of munchies that he surely would have been working on. He should have asked his wife for some chips and cookies at the end. lol
