Maybe its to foreshadow what he does in DH: he abandons Tonks when he finds out she's going to have a baby, remember? And he and Harry get into a big fight over it.

wow they made Lupin way more un-calmer than he is supposed to be. Sort of like Dumbledore. meh. Oh wells, at least we get some lines from the books. Oh and I caught Ginny's "WHATT" too, hehe, love what they're doing with her this movie.
