This is a response to TomBobBlender's video of his ten favorite SNES tracks.

Some track names were edited in order to fit within the text space.

I tried to choose music that best represented the spirit of the game. Don't you remember what it was like going through Brinstar for your first time, or putting in all of your character names for Earthbound?

There were tons and tons of songs I could have used. Every track in Final Fantasy III and Chrono Trigger is pure gold. I happen to also like most of the music in The 7th Saga a lot. As you can probably tell, I freaking love SNES RPG's, always have since I was around 9 years old.

Hope you enjoyed watching this as much as I enjoyed making it. If you want to know how to get SNES music into .wav and .mp3 files, send me a message and I can help you out.

Special thanks to: All of the video game designers and composers responsible for all of the graphics and music contained in this video. Also, Winamp... and TomBobBlender, who was the inspiration for this video and here's to hoping he keeps bringing us his wonderful renditions of classics like these!

  • What was the very first song? When you were doing your intro? I loved that!

  • Glad you liked it, the person who already replied to you was right. According to the soundtrack on my PC, the song is called "Sewer Surfin'"

The rest of that game has similar, great music. If you haven't played Turtles in Time on SNES you should. :D

  • I do love the Zeal theme in Chrono Trigger. As a matter of fact, that whole section of the game is fantastic...

  • Couldn't agree with you more. So surreal and beautiful.
