@kanix999 I'm happy to be living in the ralph stanley days sir. As a matter of fact, I've worked some for Ralph and his son on the road. :) BTW, I'm only 22 myself so don't think I'm some 120 year old man that's sitting in a nursing home complaining about how the computers and the drugs are gonna take the world over.
@style5tie kids out there that are playing... alll these young guitar players nowdays are like all young versions of tony rice. every player out there lives off of those tony rice dvds, learns the methods, makes it their own, and now the bar for guitar is higher than its EVER been. so do NOT dareee act like bluegrass is ruined. youre still living the ralph stanley days with old timey, tinkery mandolins and all and think thats what real music is. not even close.. bluegrass is unrealll right now
@style5tie bahhahahha!!!! Whattt are you talking about. the most hilarious part is that you're agreeing with dierks here. he know's jack about bluegrass. he can't play bluegrass... furthermore, it's a disgrace for him to act like he's a big part of the true bluegrass scene and all that is surrounded by the station inn. hes an awful singer. cant play guitar. stop posing and acting like youre some bluegrass, down home guy. the stringdusters are amazing musicians. just like all the other young

I appreciate Dierks fondness of Bluegrass and those that pick and sing it.
With that said . I haven't heard anything he's done vocally that comes close
to Bluegrass Music . Maybe he likes to add to the confusion and perception
of Bluegrass by younger generations that runs rampant today.
. Or maybe he will help change Bluegrass Music forever and put it in the Library of Congress like other lost or hard to find forms of American music.

He's right. It's all about the music. Nowadays the younger generation is trying to ruin bluegrass just like they ruined country.
