I am using a 50mm chrome xpole, you can pick one up at the links above.
My pole is on static, I do not have any previous dance background, i've been asked many times if i do gymnastics and ballet, the answer is no.
I'm a totally self taught pole dancer, using video's from youtube mainly.
I started in aug/sept 2006

I've always admired your performances, for a year you were the only reason I came to youtube, but this beats anything I ever saw. I have 4 poles like this in my garden, they are coming out next week, this things are rusted and shaky - how can you hold on???

Believe it or not.. this is quite possibly where 'Pole Dancing' originated from. We (boys and girls) used to swing around and do hand stands on the clothes line pole when I was a kid - and we are talking like the 1950's.

Good moves ...and the 'instability' of the pole actually helps with balance.
