This is a [9 minute] walking tour of the Riu Guanacaste resort on the western, Pacific coast of Costa Rica. Apologies for the jerks during the video - I was walking during much of the filming. In this video I walk from the front entrance to the beach on the back side.
This was at the very start of the rainy season - so the surrounding land was still dry from the end of the dry season. The Riu grounds were very green and well-maintained.
@taev314 I did two excursions, with Tours-your-way, which I arranged before arriving. We really enjoyed them.

Thanks for posting this!
I'm thinking of going in March and this really gives me an idea of hoe the place looks.
Would you go back? Did you do any excursions?

@yankez1 This was in the second week of May, 2011. It was at the very end of the dry season (thus area surrounding resort on the brown/dry side) and very start of the rainy season (occasional rain, often cloudy). In late April, rain will be less likely.

What time of years was this taken? We are thinking of going here in late April.
