  • @MADWORLD1427 well, 1974 is up there. i'll give you that.

  • I recognize alot of the people, but not many of the films. You always do such a nice job putting them together, so it's easy to get a feel for what's going on. Thanks!

  • Dog Day Afternoon, One Flew Over the Cukoo's Nest, and Uptown Saturday Night were my favorite 3 from this year. The song kicks ass too.

  • Robert Shaw great unique actor!!! Star of the childrens tv series The Buccaneers, which ran for 156 episodes, available on dvd box set!! The first Jaws was by far the best and had far superior actors in it!! The seventies films now in full swing, with future subsequent years of the 70s giving entertainment like no other decade!! The Linda Ronstadt backing track completes the pleasure of this video!! What is not to love of the films shown here!! Remarkable upload!!

  • Many films here have become Cult Classics. I remember, 'The Rocky Horror Picture Show', was played for a # of years late at night. I still recall seeing everyone dressed up as their fav. character; pretty wild! It was a great year for Sidney Lumet with his film, 'Dog Day Afternoon'; one of his best. Great tribute, Craig.

  • @MADWORLD1427 I thought that might have been Salo. It certainly gets the mind boggling (but so do a few of the scenes here that I can't recognize).

Only a few seconds before Picnic at Hanging Rock - with the gorgeous Anne Lambert, one of the great "should've been a star" actors of the 1970s. I guess that's before Hollywood talent scouts started paying more attention to Aussies... or she would have been huge!
