I have noticed that the captioning for the show is surprisingly accurate compared to many other movies and tv shows that I have seen. The only exception being the censoring of curse words. At first I was pleased that they had accurate captioning but was disappointed when I noticed that these captions are censored. Since hearing people can hear every word, why aren't deaf people given the chance to experience the same dialogue?

these youtube (google) features are not perfect nor perfectly smooth at times - smile - like most of us too; we all try though - !

That CCAC video has been captioned from when it was uploaded - it works for me and others; so...if you cannot open it - perhaps others fail to see them to, so we'll sure investigate asap....as you know, you may need to click on the small red cc box on the lower right....
i didn't see your comment until just now. ok this discussion involves AMC, but actually it ihappens in many channels. few hearing people told me that the voiced words weren't erased, only the captioned. words. that's not equal access. it reeks of paternalism if hearing people think we need to be 'protected from these dirty words'. if they cannot caption certain words due to personal or religious beliefs, then they have no business working in that field.

@mishkazena Agree. Personal/religious beliefs should NOT have any part of what goes into captioning!

we do not have time to add it today - and don't follow what you say re CCAC's own request, it sure IS captioned there...

@siglmgga I tried clicking on the CC button, and nothing happened.

@siglmgga My apologies. Tried again. Yes, it IS captioned.

Hello DrDon...youtube comments do not allow us to include any web addresses or email addresses, sigh...yet try this to see the ccac channel, go to youtube, then com slash user slash ccacaptioning...and if that does not work, try an email to us, ccacaptioning has a gmail addresss :-)

@siglmgga The link you gave (in the roundabout way) worked. I don't see my video there, but I did find it ironic that the CCAC's own "request for submission of videos" was NOT captioned.....
