  • Why is JSA a bad outfit to deal with?OR Gai??inform your readers justa little bit please MrGoodTresh.

  • Fox News chicago did a report on JSA. To make a long story short; James Spence had a booth at a local New Jersey sports show offering on-site authentication. A woman reporter went undercover and got an in person signature of Sal Bando. She then went outside with her camera crew and on a blank Bando photograph forged Bandos name on it. They went and submitted the photo with the forged signature to JSA Authentication.

  • The Spence authentication team only looked at the signature for a few seconds and determined the signature on the photograph was genuine. JSA also issued a certificate of authenticity for the signed photograph. This report was done by Fox News Chicago, so this story has credibility.

  • Who knows what else they have passed as real?

THANKS for the question and comment,

  • Im sure Jim Spence has a excuse already thought out by his attorney for being so careless and unprofessional.I do believe as Ricky Ricardo used to say to Lucy "Jimmy, youve got lots of "Splainin to do"..I wish that these "experts" would simply offer their opinion to collectors for free or in exchange for a Thank you and a handshake not charge them more money to "authenticate" an item than the item cost to purchase in the first place.Perhaps Congress needs to get involved here.

  • If tresh2 is correct and 99 percent of all autographs on the Internet being offered for sale are forgeries, than why dosnt he encourage people to STOP BUYING AUTOGRAPHS.If he is accurate in saying and TomTresh2 is always saying These BUYERS are as much if not more than at fault than the sellers are because they are keeping the forgers in business by buying their items"...If he really believes this, and if he is really a man of integrety, than he should tell his audience to find another hobby.

This is the very reason why upper deck lost their contract with NBA.
