Gay Games Chicago Opening Ceremonies

Clips from an amazing evening celebrating people around the world. O yeah, they are also gay who love competition! Chicago was blessed to have the Gay Games this year. Two years ago when I was asked to design their web site, I had no idea what I was doing this for. Tonight (07.15.06), I found out! Nothing beats actually being there, but hopefully these clips will capture parts of the excitement and emotion of the night (4 hour event knocked down to 6 minutes, lucky you!). This was basically a once in a lifetime opportunity that I would like to share with you (straight or gay)!

I knew a straight guy that faked being gay to win a swimming event. When they found out they beat him up in the locker room, took the gold medal from him, and held him down and removed his "victory" tattoo with a belt sander. LOL.

thanks for posting this video... believe it or not i was part of the opening and closing of the gay games they worked our butts off but it's the best thing and the last memory with my ex thanks once again.
