  • I know it's late but I have the explanation. So Cobb used the top to see if he was in a dream, but the top was MAL's totem, and since every totem has to "be unique and something only you can identify", its not possible for the top to have been Cobbs totem. Cobbs totem was his wedding ring. In his dreams he was still married (as he said in the film) and if you watch again, hes wearing his ring in his dreams, but it's gone in reality. At the end of the film when he spins the top, NO RING!

    REALITY

  • By the way, at the end of the credits you hear the totem fall. :)

  • @ltjboy03 YAY! I have an excuse to watch it again XD

  • @Mariebean1 thank you!

  • @ltjboy03 Exactly what i though from the beginning :) I just have one question, I think i missed something but what is the difference between Cobb when he is in a dream and us? ... You know what i mean? Cause am not able to have a dream like him where i can control everything. So what is the science of the idea... How they do this... i get the point that they have a system to connect themselves with other people dream but when they are not connected, how it works lol . How Cobb created his world

  • @ltjboy03 how would he use the ring totem in reality? Or is it just the fact that it's on?

  • @Mariebean1 Just checked, I didn't hear it.

  • @momonarie **bows**

  • Hans Zimmer is one of the best film composers alive and his music totally made this movie. Without the music you think "this is a very interesting and well done movie" but with his music is more like "Holly Shit!!! this movie is a complete mind fuck!!!! AAAAAHHH". And less not forget this is the man that composed the awesome film scores for The Dark Knigh (specially Joke's theme), The Lion King, Pirates of the Caribbean, among others..... James Newton Howard helped too........

  • @ltjboy03 That's genius.

  • @tidenburg If he didn't truely care he would be with his wife and his kids becouse thats all he wanted but he did everything he could to stil live in reality and not a dream and at the end he accomplished that becouse he didn't wear a ring!

  • Who else scrolled over Matt's face?
