Since the spring started and everything had began to wake up from the winter slumber the birds became busy breeding and nest building i decided to purchase a 70-200mm lens to allow me to get a little bit closer to the subjects,i then realised to get that little bit closer again i needed to purchased a convertor so i got myself a Kenko 1.4x teleplus which has helped greatly and just wanted to show some viewers what was possible with this lens,i now also realise if i am get really serious into wildlife i will need to purchase a 400mm or 500mm lens at sometime or other to allow me to get even closer!

  • Is the 70-200 /F4 non IS? Beatuiful pictures BTW!!

  • @liz4774 Yes it is the non IS version, with good light and a fast shutter speed its no problem to handhold and get very sharp images!

  • @carperpaul Thank you, I have been debating on getting the most for my dollar and seems most L's hold their price as long as they are cared for. I am looking at purchasing the 17-40mm l and the 70-200 L non Is and figure these 2 will get me a long while also future proofing me for a full frame later. Thanks again all of your pictures and comments have helped me reconfirm my decision on my 7D and well my future lenses...

  • @liz4774 My pleasure!

  • I keep forgetting to thank you for mentioning the Flickr group in this video. Thanks. I think it's turned into a good solid group.
