Gregg Easterbrook put it in perspective on Reuters this morning. What a sham! But what else would anyone conclude with the current Marxist in Chief? Is it me, or did left lambaste Petraeus back in 07 and call him names? Not to mention the fact that McChrystal was actually in agreement with Obama's policy on Afghanistan. In the long run, Obama will smoke a turd for this one. After McChrystal retires, he'll get a book deal and this time it won't be just a few vague lines in a magazine.

@MadSmokerBBQ I get your sarcasm and I even appreciate it since I do agree with you somewhat but I still think that as a commander his actions were somewhat irresponsible. i can't judge him or his actions since I have no authority to do so, I have never been in his shoes and know nothing of what it really is to being a general. But if he actually meant everything he said in that article then why apologize for your own opinions and beliefs two days later.
