@myday2121 Chinua Achebe's Things Fall Apart "An old women never feels at ease when old bones are mentioned in a story"
-
@Nnfefe @Everyone talking about Ibo culture, This is 2010 not 1960, 70, 80 and besides this is not a platform for such argument. Lot of ibos, yoruba, Hausa marry out of love, some marry white, green, yellow, black. Anyone that loves them, child or no child. I am full ibo from family like I described. lot of Ibo's, yoruba, hausa in their twenties, thirties, and early forties grew up in western world. Chinua Achebe is history. So y'all enjoy the music and get over urselves with y'all petty egos
-
@GoodLordify The sage, Chinua Achebe dealth with the "osu tabu" in his novel "No longer at ease". Igbos do a "deep root analysis" when it comes to marriage and that is the source of trying to establish lineage. An untraceable lineage in unmarriable.

Because my biological father told me that if a man married a woman all her belongings, belong to the husband, even if she commit adultery and have a child else where that same child or children belongs to the Husband, Then please kindly tell me where you came from because I am also aware correctly and I knew as an Igbo man that when a woman who have child or children outside pre-marriage arrangement that Igbo man do marry them also.

Nnfefe, first and foremost please I will like to know where you came from in Igbo land and where you got that false information’s from?. Because I am becoming confused over your comments in regards to the ongoing pre-married arrangements and already married couples, I was born and brought up in Igbo land (Imo State) and my father told me and the once I have witness with my 2 necked eyes are contrary to your explanation so far.
-
@otafiafia You are talking about "pre-marriage arrngements" and "already married couples" No man marries a woman who has kids in pre-marriage arrangements. No man keeps a woman who goes out of marriage and begets another child. Igbos do not accept such a child. The Igbos would ask "who is your father". The osu cast system negates any man keeping a child he has not fathered.
-
@Nnfefe ......I am not talking about their pre-marriage arrangements. I am talking about already married couples. I need to know if it is true that when an already married woman commits adultery and she has kids with her boyfriend if the husband later forgives the cheating wife and then claims the bastard kids as his very own.....please educate me by dealing with the question I asked. Thanks.
-
@otafiafia. Igbo men do not claim children they have not fathered. Igbos do a background check before committing in marriage. Bastardom is a taboo in Igboland and renegated to the osu caste system.

great censational
-
@ampleoppourtunity Hollywood is to Jews what Nollywood is to Igbos
-
@Nnfefe Where do you get all these source?
-
@Nnfefe ....Is it true that if an Igbo wife engages in adultery that produces bastard children, the husband will take back the adulterous woman and also claim her bastard children? I need to be educated concerning this issue.....I am not trying to be rude.

@SuperAnointed Africans are living a happier live than you think.Media propaganda is biting hard on you...Hey...u sound like an African American trying to make a distinction between the two a reason...../
I love Africa because I love her people. Many in the world have suffered, not only a one time event, but for centuries, and the suffering people as ONE SPIRIT have come to know what it means: "To aim...AND THE FELLOWSHIP OF HIS SUFFERINGS"!
i love the beautiful African people, and the African-American people, too. May the Mighty G-d do a mighty healing in these peoples.
