  • Are you sure it was time to replace the rotor? Did you mic. the thickness to see if they were too thin?

  • @beestingz1 Great question! I did not measure it. I had just purchased it, and wanted to make sure I started off with a clean slate. Being a used vehicle, I was unsure of the condition of the brake system and components. Although, it probably would have been fine having them turned and put back on, I wanted to sleep well at night and have confidence that I was starting fresh. Thanks for the comment and the question!

  • Thanks for the great video. I wish I had a camera - I just did my roommate's volvo 2001 s40 brakes all around and both cv axels and i bet he needs new rotors too, but he's broke, so no dice on that. When I took it out for a test drive the left front caliper started to squeal when turning right. Did you use any grease or other compound for squeal prevention?
