It was near Pirnmill on the west Coast of the Isle of Arran. We saw another one last September right next to the ferry terminal at Lochranza. Litterally 5 yards from the beach.

I think I was actually there that day because I seen (what I think might of been the same shark) in that exact position on the same day. I was amazing how close it was.

I saw a few of these sharks while I was in a small boat scooting around Holy Isle, just off Arran. They were easily 25ft long. GULP! My blood ran cold with fear. I did not know at that time that they were harmless vegetarians. Graceful yet menacing at same time.
