Awesome archaeological findings. I hope Philippines discover their roots, their ancient pride and ancient links with other Hindu Buddhist civilizations in the region. I believe ancient Philippines somehow have links and relationship with ancient Indonesians in Java (Medang Kingdom) and Sumatra (Srivijaya kingdom). Cheers from Indonesia.

I agree. As a fellow Asian, I too wish that Spain had never invaded and plundered the Asian cultural identity there. The "Philippines" is even named after a Spanish king. Hence the name "Filipinos" to name the inhabitants. I don't blame you for not wanting to call yourself a Filipino. As much as you may hate it, calling yourself "Filipino" would be like calling yourself a product of European imperial hegemony or "a product of the white man's crimes." The harsh truth.
