The 2008 Detroit Auto Show has opened its doors for the press, and the array of new cars, trucks and SUVs on display is truly staggering. This annual event, which is officially known as the North American International Auto Show, is the single biggest event in the automotive world.

That kind of exposure has drawn the biggest debuts of the year, and this year's 2008 Detroit Auto Show is no exception. On the production side, the 2009 Dodge Ram, 2009 Ford F-150 and 2009 Volkswagen Passat CC have all made their world debuts along with the 2009 BMW X6, 2009 Hyundai Genesis and 2009 Mitsubishi Lancer Ralliart. On the concept side, we've seen the Audi R8 V12 TDI, Ford Verve and Land Rover LRX. gm could learn from fiskers designs as for the big 3 there car designs all look the same non stylish its not about credit there crap thats why no one wants to buy them non stylish loks like the same designs are old style i thought they fired gm ceo i would have

GM has had a long history of Reliable,and Dependable engines,where areas Ford doesn't.Like I said those days are fading away as technology,and development evolve.Each Company bascially knows what the other has to offer,so they can add that to thier product,and figure out what will be better than that new feature or design.

Ford seems to build a better Body structure,with the Frame as one of their highlights,than GM,but GM seems to have the upper hand in the Engine compartment,as in Durablity,and Reliabilty,plus both get the job done.I have heard countless times,and have experienced repairs on Ford more than GM.That has been changing for Ford though,It is a close competiton,Both are quality made auto's,I like Ford,Gm,and Dodge,so I feel my view is honest.
