  • @Fishnwithjoe whats the biggest fish you caught or seen in columbus ohio

  • I'd say a carp from the Scioto River or a flat head catfish. They were from the same place. Both were around 35-40lbs. For the longest I'd have to say Musky from Alum. I wrote a story up about one that was close to a state record a couple of years ago for a magazine.

  • I'm curious Joe, why do you prefer the right side handle since you cast right handed? Do you also use a right side handle spinning reel?

  • I prefer right handled reels for spinnerbaits and crankbaits and left handed casting reels for flipping and pitching. With spinning reels I almost always use them on the left side.

  • Mepps are the most versatile lures. I've caught everything from chubs to musky on them.
