Have you ever considered the fact that maybe god let the monkeys evolve into an animal that would later contain, in its skull, a rational brain, and THEN infuse (in the animal) a soul.... a divine transformation.... the birth of mankind!
In other words, the ape (through time) had to develop within itself a brain that was fit for a god-like spirit to make rational decisions concerning whether or not to love and appreciate god and his creation, adore him, and so forth.

Romans 1:20 - We know God by what he has created.
Why only apes and humans then? Why the same place? Why not all of the other animals as well? Is he deceiving us just to test our faith?

Based upon what we now know, there is not one shred of evidence that points towards God having created apes and humans with the same ERV in the exact same place.
