  • Excellent video, your letter casting looks great. Very well done regarding keeping sprue well, wide gate and riser. From my bit of experience with aluminum casting and learning sometimes the hard way I can give you a few tips. First use "RIBS" in the flask or a inner groove that will prevent the petronbond from collapsing. Second if you use a "pressure head" or just sprue riser extension that will prevent aluminum spillage and burning of the flask. :-)
